USHappy Independence Day! 🎆 Today we celebrate 245 years of independence and heritage!

Nine C-17 Globemaster IIIs arrived in Kabul, Afghanistan recently delivering equipment and approximately 1000 troops. Seven flights departed, transporting approximately 600 passengers, 165 of which were American citizens.

Nearly 1,000 Californian@AirNatlGuard , @NationalGuard  servicemembers were activated for fire missions in California. 100+ out of state service members are augmenting the fight through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact. @USAFReserve 

#AirForce & @IAF_MCC  signed a landmark agreement to co-develop Air-Launched UAVs under the U.S.-India Defense Technology & Trade Initiative. The agreement strengthens existing defense cooperation & advances our shared vision of a #FreeAndOpenIndoPacific .

On June 6, 1944, Allied Forces launched a combined assault on Nazi-occupied France. More than 150K American, British & Canadian forces landed on 5 beaches along a heavily fortified French coast. It marked the start of Operation Overlord & became known as simply #DDay .
