The Post's @emilyaheil  is a great food reporter, what maddens me is that a great angle 'Do people cook for neighbors anymore?' (a genuine social commentary) becomes a vehicle that only comes to life because of a faux controversy that a traffic-driven business model incentivizes.

So far Post .news is just people posting embedded tweets from here. Watching its progress with interest, but...yeah...

My four year old last night requested I make him a rocket. I obliged. #Artemis1

If you were to launch an eVTOL manufacturer in late 2018 to be ready for market by 2024, you wouldn’t pick Joby’s strategy, nor in 2009 would you pick Archer’s.

@JTTsteve  I published this exactly one year ago (and just dropped the paywall). Newly relevant, of course: Like it or not, the foundations for single-pilot flying are being laid today

The photos released by the WH tonight of the president working at Walter Reed were taken 10 minutes apart at 5:25:59 pm and 5:35:40 pm ET Saturday, according to the EXIF data embedded in both @AP  wire postings that were shared by the White House this evening.

Out of curiosity, I found the first NYT reference to Adolf Hitler. Nov. 21, 1922. Amazing last three paragraphs.

Someone in 2018 stole a commercial airliner from a major American airport.

The original tweet on this thread was deleted. Sharing/uploading the original video back here for archival purposes.

BREAKING: Boeing is “suspending parts, maintenance and technical support services for Russian airlines.” The company will be suspending “major operations” at its Moscow offices, which do a significant amount of fleet support and design work.

@AP  I’m sitting in Seattle and the timezone adjusted on the AP site by three hours, so 8:xx ET, rather. The time between the photos and the EXIF stamp on the AP wire is still 10 min apart.

If you were to distill late capitalism down to a single push notification, this one is coming pretty damn close.
