NEWS: Boeing internally announces the April 1 retirement of Michael Teal, currently 777X chief project engineer, who served as CPE during the development of the 737 Max and 747-8F. David Loffing, currently 777 CPE, assumes Teal’s role on 777X immediately.

NEWS: Boom announces first GE J85 engine runs on its XB-1 demonstrator ahead of its planned first flight following ground shipment to Mojave, Calif. from Denver.

FedEx has never said they were planning on acquiring A321 freighters. Extremely notably, FedEx was central to the now discarded business case for Boeing’s NMA, which would’ve aimed to replace the cargo giant’s fleet of aging 757s.

The photos released by the WH tonight of the president working at Walter Reed were taken 10 minutes apart at 5:25:59 pm and 5:35:40 pm ET Saturday, according to the EXIF data embedded in both @AP  wire postings that were shared by the White House this evening.

Out of curiosity, I found the first NYT reference to Adolf Hitler. Nov. 21, 1922. Amazing last three paragraphs.

@AP  I’m sitting in Seattle and the timezone adjusted on the AP site by three hours, so 8:xx ET, rather. The time between the photos and the EXIF stamp on the AP wire is still 10 min apart.
