For just the fourth time in history, a House Committee has passed articles of impeachment against an American President.

As the House inches closer to impeaching President Donald Trump, the Senate is preparing for a trial, and Mitch McConnell said that there is no daylight between the Republican jurors and the White House.

Lindsey Graham, who tried the House's case against Bill Clinton back in 1998, called today's historic vote: "A sad, ridiculous sham in the U.S. House of Representatives." In 1998, as a Congressman, he had a very different point of view.

"I think these two articles are sadly warranted, supported by the evidence, and should be approved."

"Right now, we have a sitting President of the United States who committed two felonies while running for President." on Trump. #Hardball

"If your office is so important to you that you're going to violate your oath and vote for someone who violates his oath and uses the office of the presidency to enrich himself and to enhance his power, then I really think you're a pathetic excuse of a human being." @tribelaw

"His national emergency is completely made up. If you look at the facts, violent crime is down across the United States ... border crossings are down. The President's going to lose in court." on Trump's threat to declare a natl emergency over the border wall. #Hardball

The Clinton campaign is in damage control over new revelations in the latest batch of hacked emails from WikiLeaks.

"I think Lindsey Graham should resign if he's not going to do his job. He's the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and he says he's not going to take the time to look at the facts." @DavidJollyFL  on Senator Graham ignoring evidence of quid pro quo. #Hardball

"It's time for Democrats to play Hardball. I'm Chris Matthews and I'm urging them to do just that. There are times to fight and this is one of them."

"Marco Rubio pretty much refuses to talk to me. In fact, that's part of the reason I'm wearing this price tag right now ... that's the amount of money Marco Rubio has taken from the NRA divided by every student in our state." on . #Hardball
