#BurkinaFaso : We call for protection of civilians following horrific attack that left at least 132 civilians dead on 5 June and forced the displacement of nearly 800 people. We also stress necessity of putting human rights at the core of all efforts to address violent extremism.

#India : We call on the authorities and protesters to exercise maximum restraint in ongoin #FarmersProtests  . The rights to peaceful assembly & expression should be protected both offline & online. It's crucial to find equitable solutions with due respect t #HumanRights  for all.

CO#Colombia : We are deeply alarmed at developments in Cali overnight, where police opened fire on demonstrators, and a number of people were killed & injured. ⏩ States have a responsibility to protect #HumanRights  and facilitate peaceful assembly. 👉

We call on #Israel  to immediately halt all forced evictions in occupied #Palestine , including those in #SheikhJarrah , and to cease any activity that would further contribute to a coercive environment and lead to a risk of forcible transfer. Learn more:

#Myanmar : We are deeply concerned about the fate of some 200 peaceful protestors – incl. women – who have been cordoned by security forces in Yangon, and may be at risk of arrest or ill-treatment. We urge the police to immediately allow them to leave safely and without reprisals.
