🥵One...More...Day...Today looks to be the last day of the heat wave as storms return to the forecast through next week. Expect heat indices to once again climb to 105 to 110 degrees across the area. 🌩️Scattered storms could limit how hot it gets across the area. #mobwx

(6/25 1015AM)🌀An area of low pressure could form early next week over the northern Gulf of Mexico. Any development of this system would likely be slow as it drifts westward toward the NW Gulf of Mexico. #mobwx  👉Currently, we are NOT expecting any impacts to the local area.

🔴We will have more info this afternoon; however, we wanted to give you the latest on the severe threat now. A significant severe outbreak is expected across our area with damaging straight line winds up to 80 mph and several fast moving tornadoes possible, some could be strong

?Laura's impressive structure continues to improve by the minute as this GOES satellite loop of the last 30 minutes shows. While Laura will remain well west of our area this is a life threatening situation to areas along the southwestern Louisiana Coast and Eastern Texas coast.
