Preliminary findings suggest that at least two EF-3 tornadoes struck the Mid South Friday evening. We will continue to survey the damage along the paths of these two long track tornadoes. Rating is subject to change as we acquire more data.

Preliminary results from yesterday's tornadoes: The survey team has rated the Jonesboro tornado as an EF-3 with max winds of 140 mph. A second tornado occurred in southeast Greene County and was rated EF-1. We'll have more information as the survey is finalized. #arwx
