🚰At this point we think the atmosphere might have a leaky faucet... ☔More valley rain and mountain snow is on the horizon until we have a break late Wednesday through Saturday. Take a look at forecast totals of snow and liquid precipitation (QPF). #idwx  #orwx 

Snowpack update: we're trending well above normal (green line) on average for southwest Idaho and southeast Oregon. We're also doing much better than last year (blue line). Some major drainages included are the Boise, Payette, Weiser, Bruneau, Owyhee, and Malheur. #IDwx  #ORwx

Satellite showing a large low pressure system off Western Canada with several small system, moving on shore in CA this morning. These will move across the area later today and tomorrow bringing more rain and snow showers. #idwx  #orwx 

💧 ❄Looks for shower to begin later this afternoon and continue through the evening as they move northeast. More valley rain showers are expected during the Monday morning commute so planning accordingly. #idwx  #orwx

The #BootlegFire  is now producing lightning within its explosive pyrocumulus cloud. As this fire creates its own weather, the volatile nature makes it extremely dangerous for firefighters. Smoke continues to pour into E Oregon & Idaho. #ORwx  #IDwx  #OregonFires

Yesterday, at around 5:15 PM MDT an NWS employee observed a weak, EF0 tornado moving across ID Highway 78 about a mile northwest of Givens Hot Springs. Estimated winds 65-75 mph. Estimated to be on ground for 15 minutes. Tornado crossed Snake River before dissipating. #IDwx
