Temperatures will finally increase this week, with highs in the 50s expected on Tuesday 😎 #mtwx  #wywx

Wintry impacts will begin to impact the Absaroka/Beartooth and Judith gap areas tonight before more widespread impacts begin to affect the region tomorrow into tomorrow night. This could include a wintry mix tomorrow into tomorrow evening. #mtwx  #wywx

Snow will taper off from west to east thru the day, likely ending in southeast Montana by mid afternoon. Expect difficult travel conditions for the morning commute, so please slow down and allow some extra time! #mtwx  #wywx

A front will cross the area later today, bringing everyone a small window for wind gusts 40-55 mph. Snow showers will occur alongside it areas west of Billings, bringing rapid reductions in visibility during its passage. Stay alert if driving this evening! #mtwx  #wywx

A fast moving front will bring scattered snow and rain showers, as well as gusty winds, across the region this evening. The best chance for accumulating snow over the lower elevations will be in the western foothills. #mtwx  #wywx

Winds will pick up in eastern MT later this morning. Any potential snow that fell overnight (even amounts under an inch) will result in brief periods of blowing snow that will reduce visibility. Stay cautious if travelling out there! #mtwx  #wywx

[223 PM MST 3/11/2023]: Expect blowing #snow  with reduced #visibility  through this evening. Winds will gust to 40 to 60 mph. Affected areas include Northern Rosebud, Custer, Fallon and Carter Counties. #mtwx  #wywx

If you're awake right now, you've got a chance to catch something really cool outside. Light pillars! Ice crystals suspended in the air typically prefer a horizontal orientation, which reflects light upwards. #MTwx  #WYwx

Urgent Update: @corwinsprings '>Yellowstone Rive @CorwinSprings  has risen rapidly above flood stage. This is the highest level since 1918, and is still rising! If you are along the river in the paradise valley move to higher ground now, especially those that may be camping along the river. #MTwx
