Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for Groton SD and Putney SD until 5:30 PM CDT
A cold front moving southeast across the region today will bring isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly from the James River Valley and eastward. After a lull in the precipitation tonight, additional rain showers are expected to move through the area on Friday.
Here's a rough idea of the timing/location of the showers and thunderstorms that are possible today (8/18) as the cold front moves through. There will likely be a greater coverage of showers and t-storms this morning with the front, then they'll be hit or miss this afternoon.
