Biden, after answering a few questions on Afghanistan, says he's done talking about it. "This is a holiday weekend. I’m going to celebrate it. Great things are happening," he said.

Afghan officials accompanying CNN on a tour of Bagram confessed they were only now getting access to much of the base. One senior officer said he was notified last Thursday that his forces had less than 24 hours to secure the perimeter.

After Biden said a few weeks ago he'd be talking about voting rights around the country, more details are expected soon on his agenda and plans, the WH says.
