The shoulder of northbound I-17 isn't the place for sledding & snowmen. We get it. People are excited to see the snow. But I-17 at milepost 314, where these photos were taken, isn't a snow playground. Highway shoulders are for emergencies. Don't stop, park and play in the snow.

If you see a ramp meter light turn red at an odd hour, it might be because a wrong-way vehicle has been detected. When a wrong-way vehicle is detected on I-17 between I-10 and L-101, the system also turns on the red lights in nearby ramp meters. More:
