The Philippines received its first batch of COVID-19 vaccines Sunday. The 600,000 doses were donated by China. #Coronavirus  #COVID19  #Philippines 

The state has set aside 6.6 billion dollars that will be distributed to districts that return to in person learning. There are a number of requirements that must be met by March 31st. The grades that will be in school, will be based on the county’s tier.

Vernon Jordan, a civil rights activist who went on to fight segregation as an attorney, has passed at 85. Jordan, who was seriously injured in a 1980 murder attempt, served as transition chair for President Bill Clinton. Jordan also served as National Urban League president.

One of our own, a fellow San Diegan, gunned down by hate in our community. Lori Gilbert Kaye, a wife & mother, lost her life celebrating Passover in a Poway synagogue. Condolences to the San Diego Jewish community & the family of Lori Gilbert Kaye.

President Trump returned to the campaign trial in Oklahoma & addressed coronavirus testing, “When you do testing to that extent, you’re going to find more people. You’re going to find more cases. So I said to my people slow the testing down please. Slow the testing down please.’”

My dad bagged groceries after he began to lose his eyesight to support his family & send his daughter to Catholic school. It is never “news” to report on a man or woman making an honest living. I hesitate to give this attention, but is right, delete this please.
