Thousand Oaks fire map, update as Erbes blaze sparks Red Flag Warning for Ventura County

A red flag warning of critical fire danger conditions took effect at 4 p.m. Thursday and will remain in force until 4 p.m. Friday.

With a Red Flag Warning covering a large swath of Southern California, @CAL_FIRE  and assisting agencies are battling at least two wind-driven fires late Thursday.

In and around this area, there's a wind advisory until 1/15 at 3pm and a red flag warning until 1/15 at 4pm. 80 degrees in Thousand Oaks with sustained winds around 12mph.

A fire ongoing in eastern Webster County can be seen via webcam, satellite & radar (smoke streaming SE)! With winds this strong, fires can quickly become out of control. Remember a Red Flag Warning is in effect for portions of the area through 6 PM this evening. #newx  #kswx
