I struggle to see how Ministers can drop the requirement to wear masks on public transport without causing real problems for some people who are dependent on it. Those more vulnerable to infection or anxious about it will be put in a very unfair position. Rethink needed?

I would say - and for once I'm actually vaguely qualified to comment - that BBC managers, already bruised by lack of access to ministers, have bowed to pressure from the government & let Emily Maitlis down very badly.

He did not go inside the church or inspect damage or meet with ministers or talk with protesters or lay a wreath or make a speech or answer questions or clean up debris. He did nothing but pose for photos. Pretty sure that's the definition of a photo op.
