A Black man who was wrongfully sentenced to 50 years in prison has been released, after a campaign from WNBA champion Maya Moore, who sat out 2 seasons to help overturn his conviction. Jonathan Irons was convicted for a non-fatal shooting in 1997, at age 16. He is now 40.
