Russia is using mobilization to destroy representatives of the indigenous peoples of Crimea, Caucasus, Siberia - Zelenskyy "This is another element of Russia's genocidal policy, another reason for an immediate reaction of the whole world" - Zelenskyy

“First they tried to buy us, then they tried to repress us and now they see mobilisation as a way to try to simply get rid of us.” Spoke to people in Kyiv and Crimea about how Russia’s mobilisation drive in occupied Crimea is targeting Crimean Tatars

PS As someone who has negotiated with Russians before, I see no advantage for Zelensky or his supporters to offer a unilateral concession before negotiations even begin. Russians would never do that. Why would you give away Crimea ahead of time?

One of the benefits that Ukrainian forces have had has been the training from the US and its allies that has been ongoing since Russia’s invasion of Crimea, explains @SenatorShaheen  at #ACFrontPage  . US - UA “That training is really critical.” Watch LIVE:

The results of Russian "annexation": the Russian military is "stepping up conscription in Crimea," but, typically, it "has been disproportionately conscripting Crimean Tatars, an ethnic minority group that has faced persecution by Russian officials."

Armed Russian police are reportedly escorting Ukrainian citizens to vote in a referendum meant to ultimately annex parts of Ukraine; it is similar to what happened with Crimea in 2014.

Giving Putin Crimea in 2014 did not prevent him from invading Ukraine on a bigger scale in 2022. On what basis do strategists assume that giving Putin more territory today will prevent future invasions? What is the logic? Or historical precedent?

After invading Georgia and recognizing parts of that sovereign country as independent countries, Putin said he’s never touch Crimea. After annexing Crimea, Putin said he was done. So why do people assume capitulating to more annexation will produce permanent peace?

In 2014, appeasers hoped that giving Putin Crimea and Donbas would produce peace. It didn't work. 8 years later, he invaded Ukraine. Why on earth do people think today that giving Putin more of Ukraine will produce peace? Illogical.

No one thought Putin would annex Crimea. He did. People didnt believe the data when they saw that Putin had intervened in our elections in 2016. Few predicted his Syrian intervention in 2015. & just a week ago, many said that he would never launch this invasion. But he did. 1/

If Putin gave back Crimea and withdrew his forces from Donnas, then that would end the war.

much worse - just look at Syria (red line), Crimea, Ukraine and the build-up of Russian nukes. Not good! Was this the leaker of Fake News?

Crimea was TAKEN by Russia during the Obama Administration. Was Obama too soft on Russia?

For eight years Russia "ran over" President Obama, got stronger and stronger, picked-off Crimea and added missiles. Weak! @foxandfriends
