Tuesday’s results suggest Democratic voters – at least those in Pennsylvania and Oregon – would prefer that Democrats do more rather than less, delivering a stinging rebuke to the Kyrsten Sinema-Manchin wing of the party, writes @ryangrim .

2016-2020 Republicans were playing ball with Romney, Murkowski, etc to get their votes for big legislation. Now they're all sidelined. 2020-present Democrats spend all their time trying to win over Manchin, Sinema, etc. and progressives are sidelined. It's pretty clear IMO.

Not sure a rout but some sweet wins/ The Manchin-Sinema wing of the Democratic Party got routed in elections last night, by @ryangrim

Bernie Sanders has called out conservative Democrats Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema for sabotaging their own party’s agenda last year.

US ' .. on all these issues we had zero Republican support .. so it's not just Manchin and Sinema that went in the wrong direction .. not one Republican said that maybe in we should expand medicare, have paid family leave ' - @SenSanders  #Nov8DontBeLate

Sanders: Manchin and Sinema 'sabotaged' Biden agenda because they lack 'Guts'

Sinema recycles pro-choice talking points that don’t address the full-scale rightwing assault on reproductive freedom. She’s so absurdly obsessed with bipartisanship that she doesn’t at any point call out the people responsible: Republicans. by @SER1897

I'm pleased to announce that Senators Warner, Toomey, Sinema, Lummis & I have reached an agreement on an amendment to clarify IRS reporting rules for crypto transactions w/o curbing innovation or imposing information reporting requirements on stakers, miners, or other non-brokers

JUST IN: The Arizona Democratic Party's executive committee formally censured Sen. Kyrsten Sinema as a result of her inaction on changing the filibuster rules to pass voting rights reform.

Sinema delivers the Senate’s stupidest speech by a Democrat in an edge of tears voice to give childish words a melodramatic effect.

if Sens Manchin and Sinema were willing this morning to explicitly embrace the framework that had been tailored to their specifications, the bipartisan infrastructure bill would have passed tonight for whatever reason, they simply weren't it wasn't about the House progressives

Who would have thought that the entire Democratic agenda -- from climate change to children -- would depend on just 2 heretofore little-known Democratic senators who are really Republicans, Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin?

Make no mistake: By refusing to end the filibuster, Manchin and Sinema are giving Republicans the green light to cheat their way to victory in 2022, 2024, and every election thereafter. If the senators don't reverse course, this will be their legacy.

How about we stop asking Krysten Sinema and Joe Manchin if they support the filibuster and start asking them why they’re comfortable doing nothing while the GOP introduces 253 bills across the country eviscerating the right to vote?

Stop asking Sinema & Manchin if they support the filibuster. Start asking them why they don’t want to pass the For the People Act, legislation on climate change, & the rest of the vital bills that can’t pass via budget reconciliation & also can’t pass because of the filibuster.

Sinema and Manchin want Dems to go into next year’s midterms - which every governing party tends to lose! - with a message of ‘Sorry, we couldn’t get you that minimum wage increase we promised you because *the parliamentarian* wouldn’t let us!’ Madness. Political suicide.

Krysten Sinema and Joe Manchin say a $15 minimum wage doesn’t belong in a Covid relief bill. Here’s what I say: if you’re not willing to help people suffering during a pandemic, you don’t belong in Congress.
