BJP president J.P. Nadda on September 23 hailed the passage of the Jammu and Kashmir Official Languages Bill as “historic”, and said this is an important step for developing the regional languages of the Union Territory.

The Bill is for the inclusion of Kashmiri, #Dogri  and #Hindi  in the list of official languages in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, in addition to the existing #Urdu  and English

This is the price for daring to speak against #ZameenJihad  in Jammu, #LoveJihad  in Kerala, PFI funding of CAA protests, and for daring to enter Shaheen Bagh. I have all the respect for the law but these tactics won’t stop me. Bring it on!

Celebrated #Diwali  with the brave soldiers of the Indian Army in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. It is always a matter of great joy to be able to interact with these courageous personnel.

News that would make every Indian proud!  For the first time since 1947, Block Development Council elections were held in Jammu, Kashmir, Leh and Ladakh on the 24th. The polls witnessed a historic turnout of 98%. There were over 1080 candidates in the fray in 310 blocks.
