This week in 1949, harry truman'>President Harry Truman nearly doubled the federal minimum wage from 40 cents an hour to 75 cents. Our current federal minimum wage of $7.25 was set back in 2009 and hasn’t increased with the cost of living. It’s time to raise the wage.
