A joint farewell and welcome ceremony for outgoing Department of Education (DepEd) Leonor Briones and Vice President-elect and incoming DepEd Chief Sara Duterte will be held in the first week of July.
During their meeting on Saturday, June 25, there was a consensus on policy matters that need immediate attention as agreed upon by outgoing DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones and Vice President-elect and incoming DepEd Chief Sara Duterte.
For the past six years, the administration, through the Department of Education (DepEd), has intensified its move to ensure no one is left behind, especially the marginalized and most vulnerable sector of society.
