He didn’t want people to panic?? What exactly would have been “panicky” about mobilizing the defense production act to mobilize mass testing? How about asking all to mask? Getting PPE to first responders? HE KNEW THIS WAS NEEDED. Instead, Trump lied and SO MANY people died.
I’m calling on the Federal Government to nationalize the medical supply chain. The Federal Government should immediately use the Defense Production Act to order companies to make gowns, masks and gloves. Currently, states are competing against other states for supplies.
I do not understand the reluctance to use the federal Defense Production Act to manufacture ventilators. If not now, when?
