Today @TheDukeOfYork , Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, reviewed the Troops and took the salute at the Colonel’s Review at Horse Guards Parade.

Let’s spare a thought for Prince Charles today who has had to wander Donald round some Grenadier Guards, have lunch with him, then have him for afternoon tea and now he’s got to have supper with the knuckle dragging idiot. Imagine trying to keep THAT conversation going.

The Duke of Cambridge, The Duke of Sussex, , The Earl of Wessex, The Princess Royal, The Duke of Kent and Prince Michael of Kent all laid Wreaths at the Cenotaph. The Duke of Edinburgh’s was laid by his Equerry - a Captain in the Grenadier Guards.

A Guard of Honour gives a Royal Salute and the US National Anthem is played by the band formed of personnel from the Coldstream and Grenadier Guards.

This year, rode for the first time at Trooping in his role as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards. HRH rode on a horse from the Royal Mews called Elizabeth. The Duke of Cambridge also rode out as Colonel of the Irish Guards.
