“Lurking diseases may hide in healthy vaccinees,” Yin Weidong, Sinovac Biotech CEO, said after a 63-year-old HK man died after vaccination. He is confident in vaccine safety after large scale vaccine monitoring. The death was confirmed on Wed not directly related to the vaccine.

“We have an expectation to increase vaccine production from 1 billion to 2 billion doses, and make all doses available,” said Yin Weidong, Sinovac Biotech CEO, in an interview with GT, hoping to help more countries get access to vaccines.
