With 66,573 COVID-19 deaths in March, Brazil has just closed out its deadliest month of the coronavirus pandemic by far. It comes amid the exits of the country’s army, navy and air force chiefs and as pressure mounts on President Jair Bolsonaro.

According to Datafolha, over 50% of Brazilians disapprove of @jairbolsonaro 's #Covid  response. On March 24th, Bolsonaro made a half-hearted attempt to reassure the public with a press conference. His speech lasted just 3 minutes & was ineffective.

In March, Brazilian President Bolsonaro visited President Trump in Florida. Bolsonaro’s former Health Minister@depmandetta  says that, “from the people that went with him, 17 tested positive in about 15 days after they arrived. So this trip was really a corona trip.”
