A new Census Bureau memo calls for a state-by-state estimate of people illegally in the U.S. Some fear the end result will be a skewed allotment of seats in the House of Representatives.

Over the last 90 days, the Census Bureau conducted this survey by polling Americans weekly on their financial, physical and mental well-being. The responses show large shares of Americans foregoing medical care and many struggling with food insecurity.

Because of the Trump shutdown, the Census Bureau may run out of funding in February to continue preparations for the 2020 Census. Decisions affecting every American are made with Census data, including making sure communities get their fair share of federal funds. #EndTheShutdown 

A couple days ago I saw a Tweet reiterating the U.S. Census Bureau's conclusion that by 2045 groups once thought of us as minorities--Asians, Latinos and African Americans would make up the majority of the U.S. population. This trend has been a long time coming.
