As if you didn't need another excuse to avoid meetings.

So @westfield  has reduced free parking at some of its shopping centres from three hours to two hours. Not good. But worse? Westfield says you can park for four hours *if* you're willing to trade your privacy in an app so demanding, Facebook must be jealous.

Westfield's free parking app is unlike any I've seen before. It asks for your name, email address, vehicle rego and *will not work* unless you give it location permission. This app wants to follow you around, from shop to shop, and track your every move.
