The medieval walls of Ahrweiler weren't enough to shield it from the floods. Our latest on the search for the missing in Germany@NBCNews .

Hard to overstate how disinterested Sir Richard Branson's native Britain is in his space exploits right now. England is in its first football major tournament final since 1966 tonight and kickoff is in just over an hour...

Israel has started giving a 3rd Pfizer dose to people with weakened immune systems e.g. those with heart transplants. One official told us he thinks eventually everyone will get a 3rd "booster" shot. @HHSGov  says so far it doesn't think fully-vaxxed Americans need a booster

"Kurd and his twin sister Muna are part of a new Palestinian generation, whose calls for justice echo the same values of equality that fuel global campaigns such as Black Lives Matter." @hebamks

Do we think the Queen will knight this guy at the same ceremony as Gareth Southgate or they'll do them separately?

Just landed at Heathrow, where no one checked PCR test, passenger locator, quarantine status etc. Looks like it’s full free-for-all on COVID rules in UK since July 19. Meanwhile, hospitalisations heading the wrong way…

Quick reminder that Britain’s health minister has COVID. And the Prime Minister, chancellor of the exchequer, and leader of the opposition are all in isolation after coming in contact with someone with COVID.

More than 97% of the people hospitalised with COVID in the US are unvaccinated. Vaccinated people may be testing positive but they are very, very rarely getting seriously ill.

Netanyahu's spokesman posted this video yesterday claiming it shows rockets fired by Hamas from Gaza. The video is actually several years old and appears to be from Syria: This has been pointed out dozens of times but the tweet still remains up.

BREAKING: the ship is really moving now and horns are blaring in what sounds like celebration. The stern has swung away from us and it looks like it’s really facing the right way now after hours of being jackknifed across the channel.

Every rocket attack on US forces in Iraq is going to be breathlessly covered in the wake of Soleimani’s death. But just remember this has been going on for months and the world has mostly ignored it.

The ship is moving slowly but steadily north up the canal now. It looks like it’s completely free and sailing away from the spot it’s been stuck the last seven days.

This is really striking. I follow @subhitaha_ , a young Palestinian-American on Insta. He’s been posting about #SheikhJarrah  and almost all his content is getting labelled as “sensitive” and potentially upsetting when often he’s just sharing information. One example:

Instagram admits it restricted the al-Aqsa hashtag (#الاقصى) last Fri when Israeli police raided the mosque. They say it was a mistake. But it's just one example of where social media fims have restricted Palestinians. @AymanM  + I took a look - @MSNBC
