Just over an hour after DOH confirmed the first case of the 2019-NCOV in the Philippines, a long line has formed infront of a medical supply store selling surgical masks along Rizal Ave. in Manila. Buyers say other stores in the Bambang area have run out of stock.
Later on @saksi. An ambulance transporting a patient to a hospital gets hit by an SUV at an intersection in Brgy. Sto Domingo QC. Everyone aboard were fine but the SUV driver did not appear at QC Traffic Sector 1 as promised. Authorities caution, ambulances have the right of way.
The yearly PTAA Travel Tour Expo pushes through despite the 2019 NCOV scare. Although there are less attendees on the first day compared to last year, organizers are pleasantly surprised on the good turn-out, but most are reserving flights for the second part of the year.
