Bees are important pollinators. But scientists found that: "When bees are exposed to a combination of pesticides, parasites and poor nutrition, the negative impact of each is exacerbated... Exposed to multiple agrochemicals, the effects were worse."

This graph shows the ratio of cumulative deaths to cases in authoritarian and democratic systems. The figure shows that democracies had significantly fewer deaths per 100,000 cases than authoritarian regimes and semi-authoritarian regimes.
