It's not the first time an African American dies after telling police that he could not breathe. The big difference – for a minimum of justice – is that cell phone where you might be reading this column "I Can't Breathe" via @Univision

Here’s my column for the NYT: “Should I die abroad, bring me back to Mexico”.

Mister it’s 4 PM est and a 10-year-old with Down syndrome is still at a detention center in McAllen, Texas, without her mother (as reported by the Mexican Foreign Minister). This is urgent. When are you going to do something about it?

Let me remind everyone that there is no invasion at the border, that Mexico is not an enemy, that detentions at the border are at a 40-year low, that the undocumented populations has remained at 11M for a decade and that to send troops to the border would be a waste of time and $

I'm a reporter. My job is to ask questions. What's "totally out of line" is to eject a reporter from a press conference for asking questions

Trump's decision on DACA is cruel, coldhearted and benefits no one. He didn't even have the courage to announce it himself. Not surprised.

Separating children from their parents is against the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child (signed in 1995 by the U.S.). It says that “a child shall not be separated from his or her parents against their will.” Clearly the govt. is violating human rights.

O.K #DREAMERS  this is the weekend when you'll try to change Trump's mind.Tell @realDonaldTrump  what will happen to you without DACA.We'll RT

No human being is illegal. Everybody has rights, especially the undocumented. There has to be a better way than fear and hate.

I just know that many children and immigrants woke up today with fear. I wish we could tell them that everything will be O.K. but I can't.

Mexican government reports that a 10-year-old girl with Down syndrome was separated from her mother. This is Trump’s America. has to do something urgent about this case today.
