I feel like people really need to keep this in mind when the inevitable calls for a “report on the unrest” pop up.

I need a stiff drink. And I don’t even drink.

It’s time for networks to stop showing clips of that video. We understand that a human being was killed. At this point showing it only serves to further objectify George Floyd. #Minneapolisprotests  #GeorgeFloyd

Not long ago I mentioned to a group of white people that I never run at night because of the dangers of being a large black man running in the dark. I instantly knew they thought I was being extra. Turns out I was being understated. Ahmaud Arbery was running in the daytime.

There are many more questions than answers re #AhmaudArbery.  The video, which looks like a lynching, was, strangely enough, released by a local attorney in an attempt to *defuse* the situation. (Police and prosecutors had the video from the outset.)

Serious question as to whether the United States will be considered a superpower on the other side of this pandemic.

You know we’re in uncharted territory when something happens in Minneapolis and they’re setting cars on fire in Salt Lake City.

You elected a President whose only discernible skill was creating spectacle. That’s about the only thing he delivered on.

What worries me about November is that Trump’s relationship to the presidency is like of an abusive man to an ex — he’ll destroy it before he sees it with someone else.

You’re kidding yourself if you think this dude would ever leave office peacefully, under any circumstances.

Obama is showing off with these complete sentences.
