Last night I went to see a screening of @amberlightfilm . A gorgeous film from @davebroomwhisky and @adammpark . A documentary about whisky and Scotland that is all heart and people and landscape and joy. It will be on limited release later this year and at selected festivals.
Red lentil casarecce with courgettes, chilli and dulse seaweed. The pasta has a silky egg yolk jacket. Not sold on the red lentil pasta (first try) but I love the flavours generally. I cooked the pasta in some dashi that I made yesterday 🥰
Leftover sauce from spiced coconut ribs met prawns, kaffir lime leaves and curry leaves made a fab 5 minute supper. This is the joy of cooking for me - working with what you have and making something fabulous 🥰
Spiced coconut ribs. Just the ribs cut off a piece of pork belly (which I marinated in a miso marinade separately & which became part of a sublime miso soup). I also made crackling which I have other plans for! One piece of meat. 3 recipes. 3 very good things to eat. 🐽🐽🐽
Does anyone else have a MacBook that constantly disconnects from WiFi? I have googled and cleared out all previous WiFi connections etc which fixed very temporarily. It is driving me crazy!

Chefs and food writers! What are the things that you think home cooks cook incorrectly at home? Mine: not salting pasta water, not bringing meat to room temperature. For a thing!
