A few weeks ago, S&T’s National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center provided info on heat + humidity’s effect on the #COVID19  virus. Recently we released a tool to help you calculate the natural decay rate of the virus on indoor surfaces.

We’re working with Homeland Security Investigations to test Igloo, a software program that can quickly analyze data to identify patterns of human smuggling activity. More:

(1) Findings from S&T’s Nat’l Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Ctr: #COVID19  virus is inactivated quickest with direct sunlight both on surfaces and in air. There are still unknowns about transmission + more work needs to be done before it’s safe to return normal life.

(2) NBACC found that #COVID19  virus does not survive well in saliva as temperature/humidity increases. The virus inactivates quickest in the presence of direct sunlight + appears to survive best in indoor/dry conditions.
