#Cardinals , including players like Molina and DeJong working their way back from positive tests, continued testing Tuesday. Team awaiting results and clearance from MLB to workout at as early as this evening or tomorrow, but that decision needs results.

You can do the math on it. If the return this weekend, that's 40+ days of the season remaining. If they return in another two weeks, that's 30 or less days remaining and so on ... The question of when 29 teams go on without one was asked of Manfred:

Necessary caveat: Not all of the players in Springfield are on the 40-man roster for the #Stlcards  , and some are fresh out of high school and years away from needing to be put on the 40-man roster. That thins the pool to less than 30. Still, his point is they've been playing.

“Once it got in our clubhouse, it almost didn’t matter if we did everything by the book. We could have been a little tighter on not giving fist bumps after a celebratory hit ... every team is doing the same stuff.” — Wainwright to Hummel. #stlcards  #MLB

One thing that has happened as #stlcards  had a second quarantine is players like Yadier Molina and Paul DeJong, who were part of the Milwaukee positives, have had the time to wait the minimum seven days and still get in as many as three tests to begin their return to the team.

@stlredbird06  Covered in this story, but as you probably know Wednesday's test results aren't available because players are still taking them. So, I don't know them, sorry.

Pointed questions. Some pointed comments on the article, too. Here is a selection of the queries and answers from @stltoday  weekly #stlcards  chat, which this week had bigger topics that pitching changes and lineup decisions:

Source: Heyward has made a decision. #cardinals  were very aggressive but doesn't sound like he chose them. #cubs  very much in play here.

I've seen dozens and dozens of curtain calls in St. Louis, but never one for a player who comes to the top step of the visitors' dugout to acknowledge the crowd. Only for Pujols. #Cardinals  #stlcards  #MLB
