“[President Trump has] been the most accessible president. He's actually running for president unlike Joe Biden, who is sitting in his basement, not talking to voters.” - @RRMGOP

It’s very ... something ... that mainstream antiabortion politics in the United States also involves making it harder to get contraceptives and prenatal and neonatal health care and opposes creating a paid parental leave program.

In the middle of a pandemic that has killed 200,000 and caused 30 million to lose their job, Amy Coney Barrett is being put on the Supreme Court for the explicit purpose of being the deciding vote on a pending case to end health care for 23 million of us. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

“I think it will be very hard to dispute [Judge Barrett’s] qualifications or anything about her.” @realDonaldTrump

@SecPompeo  on the Abraham Accords: We worked to deliver a coalition to get the Gulf states to work together, to convince them that they could work alongside and partner with and do commerce with the state of Israel and recognize them, and that they would be safer.

I can’t help thinking @realDonaldTrump  believes a “textualist” is someone who doesn’t email.

To wear the Gold Star button means a military family member has lost a loved one in uniform. On this #GoldStarMothersDay  and #GoldStarFamiliesDay , we share our gratitude for those who bear the weight of loved ones gone too soon. #HonorThem

On another note, amazed @wexler  hasn’t surfaced yet to recall FRITZ’s response when @henrymcmaster  challenged him to a drug test in 1986 Senate race: “I'll take a drug test, if you'll take an IQ test”

Today's update on the numbers: Of the 84,770 tests reported yesterday, 866 were positive (1.02% of total). Total hospitalizations are at 541. Sadly, there were 6 COVID fatalities yesterday.

This reminds me of what my friend Senator Fritz Hollings once said when his opponent challenged him to take a drug test: "I'll take a drug test if you'll take an IQ test."
