It's not taking a long time because it is so super close. It is taking a long time because we are in the middle of a pandemic and people voted by mail and Republicans used that to ensure it would take a long time SO THAT they could claim it was close. Please stop falling for it.

Seems like one way to ensure that the majority of Georgia voters who just elected Joe Biden remain highly engaged in a special election is to fraudulently accuse them of cheating. Especially when a new Voting Rights Act to protect their franchise hangs in the balance.

I know the various decision desks are acting in good faith and waiting to meet specific thresholds, but the longer this goes without them declaring what everyone recognizes is the inevitable outcome, the scarier things are going to get.

As part of the healing process, I think we should select a date and time to collectively and simultaneously unfollow @realDonaldTrump.  It's time, as a nation, to let go of the things which do not spark joy.

The fact that this is 100% destined to fail doesn't make it any less alarming that the president would be attempting to convince legislatures to overrule voters and that GOP members of Congress are aiding and encouraging him.

This town is full of smart, talented, and experienced people who are also jerks. The unifying theme of Biden's picks thus far are reputations for decency, kindness, and integrity.
