It’s not jawan against kisan. It’s not RW vs LW. It’s Indian against Indian. It’s you, me, all of us battling those who spurn #InclusiveIndia . On TV, on the streets, everywhere. On a day we shouldn't have witnessed what we had to, let’s remember: United we stand, divided we fall.
“I look upon the increase in the power of the state with the greatest fear, because while apparently doing good by minimizing exploitation, it does the greatest harm to mankind by destroying individuality. And it is individuality which lies at the root of progress.”~MahatmaGandhi
This remarkable painting is by Ajunath Sindhu Vinalay, a 9th Std boy in Thrissur, Kerala. Tired of hearing that his mother doesn't work, he painted her doing her various chores. His impressed teacher sent it to the Govt &It’s now the cover for the State’s 2020/21 gender document.
Five people on stage. Pictures of seven leaders. One man in the audience. And it’s not even Kerala! #BJPThePartyIsOver

Congratulations @MPNaveenJindal on this bold initiative. I remember when @JindalGlobalUNI was just a dream in the mind of Prof C.RajKumar. You had the courage to back his vision with funds & clout, &today you have the highest ranked Univ in India.

As an MP, I appeal to @PMOIndia to divert the ₹20,000 Cr earmarked for new Parliament building & Central Vista to supplement the ₹15,000 allotted to fight #Covid19 , which is merely ₹20 Cr per district. Grand spending on buildings at this time of crisis is a postponable luxury.
Sure, @chetan_bhagat ! It’s clear you are not sesquipedalian nor given to rodomontade. Your ideas are unembellished with tortuous convolutions & expressed without ostentation. I appreciate the limpid perspicacity of today’s column.
This prescient warning from Dr Manmohan Singh in 1999 should serve to caution the bigots in our ruling circles — and also to inspire the rest of us to work to prevent the worst!
So Hindutva bigots have called for a boycott of @TanishqJewelry for highlighting Hindu-Muslim unity through this beautiful ad. If Hindu-Muslim “ekatvam” irks them so much, why don’t they boycott the longest surviving symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity in the world -- India?
I don’t know who this brilliant poet is, but “hum kagaz nahin dikhayenge” is destined to be one of the most powerful anthems of the #CAA_NRC_Protests !
