A “How to Cope With #COVID19  #Lockdown ” story from Thiruvananthapuram: man runs 42.2km marathon inside his apartment! Great work RakeshNair of @TOIIndiaNews ⁩ !

Today, the 13th Read-aloud story for #lockdown  kids in @ShobhaTharoor  's series: "The Blue Jackal " from the Panchatantra. Sadly, one who treats his own with scorn will only come to a bitter end!

As we head to the #9MinuteLightUp  tonight, a reprise of my debate on @IndiaToday  w/ the BJP's most reasoned voice, @PandaJay , on the PM's speech to the nation: @rahulkanwal

The media suddenly showing a lot of interest in what MPs like myself are doing during the #Lockdown ! & &

Just concluded a @ProfCong  "virtual Townhall" Interaction on Zoom with 210 members of AIPC from across the country, on issues ranging from the handling of #COVID19  to the impact of the #Lockdown  on the economy &urgent concerns of Indian professionals. Will continue this practice.

As an MP, I appeal to @PMOIndia  to divert the ₹20,000 Cr earmarked for new Parliament building & Central Vista to supplement the ₹15,000 allotted to fight #Covid19 , which is merely ₹20 Cr per district. Grand spending on buildings at this time of crisis is a postponable luxury.

Listened to the Pradhan Showman. Nothing about how to ease people’s pain, their burdens, their financial anxieties. No vision of the future or sharing the issues he is weighing in deciding about the post-lockdown. Just a feel-good moment curated by India’s Photo-Op PrimeMinister!

It’s been just 9 days since we expressed national solidarity with our healthcare workers on the frontlines. Those serving us from medics to cleaners are people of all religions. This is no time to promote communalism for TRPs. Shameful to give the virus a religious identity!

I don’t know who this brilliant poet is, but “hum kagaz nahin dikhayenge” is destined to be one of the most powerful anthems of the #CAA_NRC_Protests  !

This is no accident: the PM spoke on Ram Navami at 9 am for 9 mins, asked us to light diyas & candles on 5/4 at 9 pm for 9 mins. He is invoking all the auspicious elements Hinduism associates with number 9. Back to Ram Bharose?! #COVID19  must be more serious than we thought!

Faster Than Usain Bolt? Karnataka Man Running With Buffaloes Covers 100 Metres in Just 9.55 Seconds. I urge the Athletics Association of India to take this man under their wing & make an Olympic champion of him. Wonder how many hidden talents we have!

Detailed description of the benefits of the 2500-year-old Indian technique of pranayama, dressed up in 21st c. scientific language as "cardiac coherence breathing"! It's taking the West a few millennia to learn what our ancients taught us millennia ago, but hey, you're welcome...

Very good questions by this protestor. Does the Government have any answers?

An unprecedented drop in electricity demand at 9pm Sunday &an immediate surge at 9.09 pm could cause the electrical grid to crash. So Electricity Boards are contemplating load shedding from 8 pm & staggered return to normal after 9.09pm. One more thing the PM didn’t think about!
