Montana's Job Corps Centers offer critical opportunities for Montanans to learn skills, succeed in good-paying jobs, and improve our state—but they've been closed for far too long. I'm glad to see the @USDOL  answered my calls to reopen these centers for in-person activities.

Kids shouldn’t be learning on an empty stomach, and healthy school meals are critically important for our kids’ ability to learn and grow. I was proud to secure critical pandemic relief to help school lunch programs expand access during COVID-19. #NationalSchoolLunchWeek

But our work isn't over. I'm fighting hard to make sure our kids don't go hungry when school lets out for the summer and to ensure their school lunches use nutritious food from local producers through farm to school programs.

Stopped in Belgrade to congratulate the teachers and administrators of Ridge View Elementary and thank them for all they do. They made Montana proud by earning a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School recognition for their excellent work preparing Montana’s next generation of leaders.

There's nothing more fundamental to our democracy than the right to vote. With my Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, I'm fighting to make sure all eligible voters have fair and equal access to the ballot box.

Always a pleasure to be in the Electric City! As I heard from the folks in Great Falls, we need to level the playing field for family farmers and ranchers—and my bipartisan American Beef Labeling Act will do just that.

I was just handed a 479-page tax bill a few hours before the vote. One page literally has hand scribbled policy changes on it that can’t be read. This is Washington, D.C. at its worst. Montanans deserve so much better.

I’m going to continue holding Postmaster DeJoy accountable until he reinstates the reportedly dozens of @USPS  mail collection boxes that were removed across Montana.

The disastrous Citizens United decision continues to ensure dark money has a corrosive influence on our politics. That’s why I’ll be reintroducing my amendment to #EndCitizensUnited , bring transparency to our elections, and declare corporations are not people—once and for all.

If traitors to our democracy aren’t held accountable, we will fall under siege again. And if that happens, it will unfold with better planning and even bloodier results. Read my op-ed for @USATODAY  below ⬇️

Access to the ballot box is critical to a functioning democracy, but that fundamental right is under attack. With the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, I'm fighting to make sure every eligible Montanan has a fair and equal opportunity to make their voice heard.

Last night, the House passed the For The People Act. This critical legislation will help secure our elections and kick dark money out of politics. We need to get this bill through the Senate ASAP, and onto the President's desk for signature.

History made! @Interior  Sec. Haaland is the first Native cabinet secretary in U.S. history. I look forward to working with her to ensure we're protecting our public lands, creating good paying jobs, and upholding trust and treaty responsibilities to Tribal nations.
