(1/2) Today’s numbers show that, slowly, our nation is on the road to recovery. Programs like PPP, PUA, and EIDL are working for hardworking Virginians, but there is still work to be done to ensure we are set up for success moving forward.

(3/5) As we mourn the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless other black Americans who have died tragically and needlessly, hurt, anger, and unrest is spilling out into the open because our citizens are tired of events like these continuing to happen

(2/5) While we have made strides in the right direction, we can and must do better to ensure equality, equity, and equal treatment for all.

(4/5) We must condemn the atrocities that have sparked this outrage while peacefully and safely demonstrating. We cannot react to violence with violence. Let us instead address these injustices with positive actions.

Failures of the system designed to protect and serve our communities regardless of the color of someone’s skin must end. We cannot react to violence with violence. Let us instead address these injustices with positive actions.

(1/6) We were able to get the Cable Ship Security Program authorized last year, and I look forward to continuing to push forward the, as you could say, not flashy but entirely necessary programs—such as the Tanker Security Program.

Just tried to enter the room where the Intel Comm is interviewing witnesses for this partisan impeachment process. Both I and @RepWalberg  were turned away. It is clear that House Ds do not want a clear or transparent process. #StopTheSchiffShow

As millions of Muslims around the world celebrated the end of Ramadan many Uyghurs in China have had their religious freedom taken away. I was proud to vote for the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act condemning these gross human rights violations. We must stand up against these acts.

As I have said for months, the time to pass the USMCA is now. More than one million American jobs are on the line, and we cannot afford to delay any longer. Rather than focus on distracting political posturing, we need to get back to the work of the people. #USMCAnow

3 times now House Dems voted NO to paying federal employees while we work towards a solution to reopen government & fund border security. 3 times. When will Speaker Pelosi stop prioritizing resistance over finding common ground? We’ve got to work together.

Just read the Intel Committee’s classified memo regarding the FBI, FISA courts, and dossier. Deeply concerned. For transparency’s sake the American people deserve to read it too. #ReleaseTheMemo

Great to talk today with @ChrisEvans  about the debt, deficit, and Congressional accountability for his new website #StartingPoint  launching soon. #CaptainAmerica
