#Kenilworth - Paramedics are treating a patient with a possible neck injury after a fall from a horse at 1.10pm. The helicopter has been tasked.

Snake bite signs are not always visible but may include puncture marks, bleeding or scratches.

#Elimbah - one patient has been transported to Caboolture Hospital in a stable condition following a single vehicle rollover on the @Bruce_Hwy  at 3:49am.

#Glenvale - paramedics are at the scene of a house fire that was called through to QAS at 1.40pm. No patients reported as yet.

#Southport - A post immersion incident was reported at 2.05pm in the waters near Marine Parade and Gold Coast Highway. Paramedics transported one patient stable to Gold Coast University Hospital.

#PacificPines - A vehicle into bushes was reported on Smith Street and Pacific Pines Boulevard at 2.04pm. All patients declined transport.

#Cornubia and surrounds - smoke will be affecting your area due to fires. Please listen to the alerts and advice from emergency services and keep windows and doors closed to avoid your health being affected by the smoke.

GC resident Sharon called QAS for her husband Ron’s final journey to palliative care. Officers arrived and during observations of Ron, Sharon noted that he'd barely eaten over 2 days. The officers asked, if you could eat anything, what would it be? Ron replied, a caramel sundae.

There is NO excuse for abuse! Paramedic Winston suffered a fractured nose after he was assaulted while caring for a patient. This type of behaviour HAS TO STOP! We're here to care for people and we can't do that to the best of our ability if we're in a volatile situation.
