I agree with @barbaraslavin1  who says the Trump admin's maximum pressure campaign against Iran, under the pandemic, is “sadism masquerading as foreign policy.” Here I explained how Bush and Obama both eased sanctions on Iran after devastating earthquakes:

Under Trump, being Iranian is crime enough. New Iran sanctions include Bank Maskan, which specializes in mortgages, and Bank Keshavarzi, which lends to farmers. Sanctions are collective punishment for millions of innocent Iranians who already suffer under a repressive regime.

Iranian officials should also show mercy to political prisoners, like Nasrin Sotoudeh and many others, who are at risk of contracting Covid19 in prison. Iran temporarily released over 85,000 prisoners under the pandemic, but not many political prisoners were set free.

Iranian users are tweeting personal stories of how US sanctions hurt their daily lives; from shortage of special medicine to soaring prices of everyday goods. Economic sanctions are collective punishment of innocent civilians caught in the US-Iran political fight. #روایت_تحریم

Iran faces coronavirus catastrophe: Researchers estimate Iran will not reach the peak of epidemic till late May, and up to to 3.5 million people could die as a result - thanks to a lack of international aid and government mismanagement. @ShabnamvonHein

ATTENTION If you know anyone of Iranian decent who has been questioned, stopped, detained at US borders please send me a direct message. Prominent members of Congress are inquiring about this and would like to know mire details. PLEASE RETWEET

Just spoke to an Iranian-American living in the West coast. He told me his wife and young children were held for 5-6 hours at the US-Canada border while returning home from Vancouver. ?? AMERICAN CITIZENS ??

Iranian women put their scarves on sticks in the middle of busy streets, as a peaceful protest to mandatory Hijab laws. We have been fighting this unfair law for three decades, slowly but consistently. We fought and we pushed back. And this is where we are today.
