The dry and seasonably chilly weekend continues. A gusty breeze will be felt in the usual areas from Rock Springs to Casper this afternoon. Tomorrow will see some light snow showers across the west beginning in the afternoon. Light snow will continue into Tuesday morning. #wywx

Climate outlook for December 2020. Temperatures will be above normal in the south, with equal chances in the north. Wyoming will mainly have equal chances of precipitation except for the northwest which has above normal chances. Interactive maps:

Mainly dry and seasonably cold once again today and tonight. Wednesday, snow moves in across the west during the afternoon. Greatest impacts will be across Teton Pass during the evening and overnight. Snow will mostly end Thanksgiving morning. #wywx

It is hard to believe it is July 1st when you see #snow  on Togwotee Pass Wyoming. It sits at around 9,600 feet.

On this date, in 1987, an F4 Tornado tore through the Teton Wilderness and Yellowstone National Park , even crossing the Continental Divide, at 10,070 feet. An F4 Tornado has estimated winds of 207 to 260 mph and can do devastating damage. Here are some interesting facts. #wywx

First Snow! Say it ain't so! We're afraid so. Sorry all, the first snow is indeed upon us. A cold front will move in this evening bringing much cooler air, rain, & snow in the higher elevations. Winter Weather Advisories are out from midnight tonight to 6 AM Tuesday. #wywx
