Not so helpful hint: The totals for the other three answers are 13, 5 and 1. #azwx

The answer is 2016. 1991 had the second most at 13...the others are much further down the list but there were 5 in 2003 and 2020 just had 1. However, we know how the heat cranked way up last summer.

The low this morning at Sky Harbor was 48 degrees...2 degrees below the normal for the date. #azwx

Strong gusty winds are expected across parts of SE CA and SW AZ tonight and early Thursday. Wind gusts, up to 35-45 mph are possible…along with areas of blowing dust and strong crosswinds. Motorists on I-10 and I-8 beware! #azwx  #cawx

There it is! Phoenix has now experienced its 144th day this year with a high temperature of 100°F or greater, reaching 100°F at 2:37 PM MST this afternoon. This beats the previous record of 143 days set in 1989. #azwx

Phoenix had an unprecedented 53 days of 110° of greater. Even though our annual trend is increasing, this was well out of bounds. However based on how our climate is changing & long term climate modeling, 50 days may become closer to the normal number in 20-40 years.

Wind chills near -50°F in the midwest! That's almost 100 degrees colder than it is here. #azwx  #cawx  #mnwx
