Water Vapor satellite imagery shows an area of low pressure centered over Madera County. This low will set the stage for showers and thunderstorms later today over the Sierra and possibly into the Indian Wells Valley this afternoon. #cawx
A few thunderstorms are possible starting late this morning through the afternoon and evening hours. Small hail and wind gusts near 40 miles per hour are a couple of hazards associated with strong thunderstorms. #cawx
