Today Republicans denied the will of the American people by confirming a Supreme Court justice through an illegitimate process—all in their effort to gut the Affordable Care Act and strip health care from millions with pre-existing conditions. We won’t forget this.

Today is a terrible day for our democracy and for the fundamental rights of the American people. Nothing about this process is normal or legitimate.

Corruption oozed out of former @EPA  head Scott Pruitt’s office like toxic sludge – and things are no better under former coal lobbyist @EPAScottPruittAWheeler . It’s long past time for the EPA to be led by someone who actually believes in environmental protection.
