I applaud the resourcefulness and courage of Nigerian youth in the #EndSARS . Powerful to let your voices be heard peacefully. Let’s join hands for a positive outcome through a One Nigeria approach.

It is done! Thank you @wto  members for finalizing my election today and making history. In the 73 years of GATT and WTO, honored to be First Woman and First African to lead. But now the real work begins. Ready to tackle the challenges of WTO. Forget Business as usual!

Happy to be in the final round of the @wto  DG campaign. Thanks, WTO members for your continued support of my candidacy. I could not have made it without the prayers and support of all Nigerians and friends around the world. Thank you @MBuhari  and all my friends. Aluta continua!

Happy for the success & continued progress of our @wto  DG bid. Very humbled to be declared the candidate with the largest, broadest support among members & most likely to attract consensus. We move on to the next step on Nov 9, despite hiccups. We're keeping the positivity going!

#COVID19 Africa’s window for containment is narrowing! As of March 28, there are 4,106 cases in 46 countries with 124 deaths. Still too many reports and videos of people gathering in churches, mosques and markets. Spread the word! Don't congregate. Save lives!

Trade is a force for good, and properly harnessed can help lift millions out of poverty and bring shared prosperity. The role of @wto  is more vital than ever. Let’s fight for a WTO that works for all.

If selected, what kind of @WTO  DG would I be? Proactive, supportive & solutions-oriented.

Responsible food distribution with social distancing to assist lower income households in the #COVID19  era! A great example from #Rwanda  where community workers also distribute food and other necessities door-to-door @PaulKagame
