NEW: No child should go hungry, but a tragic symptom of the cost of living crisis means that sadly, far too many children are. That’s why I’m providing emergency funding for one year for free school meals for primary school children in London.

People who drive polluting cars are exposed to polluted air. All Londoners—almost half of whom don't own a car—are exposed to polluted air. City Hall has made millions in financial help available to those who need it to ditch their dirty cars, so everyone can breathe clean air.

It’s great to see @ChefTomKerridge  echo my call for free school meals to be extended to more children across the UK. It is important that we protect our most vulnerable, without stigma, to ensure that our children don’t become the victims of the cost of living crisis.

I'm honoured to be invited to speak again at @WOWisGlobal  this year. As a proud feminist, I’m keen to encourage other men to become allies to women and girls. Join me at the WOW Big Ideas session this Sunday where I'll be talking about male allyship.

It’s time to confront a hard truth: Brexit isn’t working. It’s had a detrimental effect in our capital and across our country. We need a shift from the extreme, hard Brexit we have now to a workable version that serves our economy and people.
