In today's Watson Wire, we must do something big & bold on mobility. And we must do it soon. Transformation won’t come easy or cheap. But we can get it done for the generations to come and ensure accountability.
Half way through #Movember ! Half way through growing this facial hair. Half way through diet & increased exercise (uh, I actually need much more work on this). But I'm less than half way on fundraising. Can you help fight for men’s health w/ 25? $50? More?

Will you help the family of Draylen Mason, the 2nd victim killed by the #AustinBombings ? Draylen's mother is recovering from her injuries, but their home was severely damaged. This ordeal is far from over for his family. Here's the link to donate online:
Weeks ago I called for a stop to the execution of #RodneyReed . Today I stand w/ a bipartisan coalition of Senators saying TX must investigate all evidence before taking Reed's life. It's up to Gov. Abbott & Bd of Pardons & Paroles. My letter: #txlege
#SB5 is dead. Women's health & women's rights are protected. We did it. And "we" means "you," too. #StandWithWendy
ICYMI: I've requested that Gov Abbott grant a reprieve b/c TX shouldn't execute #RodneyReed w/o a thorough, unbiased review of all the evidence. We won't serve justice by ending a man's life while grave doubt & racial bias continue to taint his case.
More dead & injured, including heroic law enforcement. Our grief is great. Tomorrow, new, more lax gun laws are in effect. The irony is gross. It makes no sense. Texans must indeed unite. Unite in supporting commonsense laws that protect Texans & TX law enforcement. Time to act.
Thoughts & prayers, roundtables & platitudes, recycled tweets of sorrow, specious calls for justice after the fact can't replace needed #txlege action, real effort to prevent these horrible acts. And we need action in elections. We need to vote like lives depend on it. They do.
