@MayorOfLA  @LACMAI  @LAlight’m grateful for the coverage the competition has already begun to receive—in particular this excellent piece by i @mslaurablissn  : @CityLab

@MayorOfLA  @LACMAT  @LAlighth  @mslaurablissa  @CityLabnks  also to for @CurbedLA  this great piece by : “C @jennakchandleran  You Design a Better Streetlight for L.A.?”

All policy aside, I wish Bernie would stop saying “at the end of the day” so much. Seems so off-brand for him!

Deeply saddened to hear that the great L.A. architect Ray Kappe, one of the founders of @sciarc , has died at 92. Ray's own house in Rustic Canyon, from 1967, is among the most significant (and underrated) works in all of Los Angeles architecture

Big news: James Goldstein is giving his John Lautner house to @LACMA , along with a $17 million endowment:

Los Angeles offers a clear picture of the post-immigrant, multiethnic future the administration's recent actions seem determined to prevent

I’ve had a number of people @ me about this @cmonstah  piece on the architecturally, well, *busy* corner of Wilshire and Fairfax and the urban design of the Miracle Mile (), so here are some thoughts in a handy thread!
