Grinling Gibbons served as the King’s Carver and was commissioned in the remodelling of Windsor Castle. He created the Charles II equestrian statue which can be viewed at the castle.
Through HRH’s @PrincesFound , traditional craftsmanship is being kept alive with courses offered for students. The charity welcomes around 50 students to Dumfries House in Scotland each year to study on courses featuring woodcarving.
